- In the first round of the playoffs, the Freezers face the Comets for the 5th straight year, beating them in 4 straight games.
- Also in the first round, the Mets require the full 7 games to knock off the Flames, the Wilderness defeat the Warriors in 6 games, while the Bulls defeat the Killer Whales in a nasty 6-game series.
- In the second round, the Freezers defeat the defending champion Mets in a tough 7-game series, while the Bulls upset the Wilderness in 5 games.
- The Freezers and Bulls each win 2 games at home, bringing the finals to a 2-2 tie.
- After the Freezers win the pivotal game 5 at home, Sean MacDonald's overtime goal in game 6 gives the Freezers their second Lego Cup and their first since 2003.
